Description I have done another picture with this scene (Port Royal) but i wanted to add this version too, as it has a very different atmosphere and it shows that nice cannon in the foreground
The scene itself looks way more friendly and positive because of the different environment, i might do a darker version later, and i might add a Black and White version, that i have already done, too, as it reminds me of Metropolis, not architecturical, just in means of effect on the viewer... i hate this sentence

EDIT: Changed quite a bunch of aspects, the lightning now is more smooth, the old version looked too sharp. The floor was changed quite completely and i added those building in the distance. First +1.000.000 Mio. polygon picture!

If anyone faved or prefered the previous version then tell me plz, i might upload it to my scraps then.

Comments and ideas still appreciated

The complete piece gives a nice feel, yet it also feels erratic. The Contrast of the bright white buildings in the background with the darker floor and middle area don't mix well and utopias generally don't have war, riots or any disturbances. Why the cannon? The piece is nice, but I think you need a little more flow. The red sky, bright white and dark grey just give it a weird feel. The spotlights are quite overwhelming, especially in the background. The skyscrapers on the right are not very shiny, just glowing. I'm not saying they should be shiny, I just think that if you created them grey and then shined and polished them, it would mix better. Also, maybe either a daytime or nighttime skybox would work much better.

I would like to ask you if I may use this image for a project I've got coming up. It's a school project, and I think this image would be a great one for us to use. We will give the credit for the image of course. Please respond with an answer as soon as you can.

Excellent piece of modelling and visualizing. Very dynamic too. I only think the environmental lighting is a bit over-burnt.

I guess the last changes were a bit inspired by your cityscapes, atleast the lightning

Set to background. Terrific detail on the gun and the reflections on the glass. Hope to see more of your work .

the gun took almost as much time as the whole scene
