It's funny, I've only ever admired the Myst games because of the beauty of them (as I suck at puzzle games), and the moment I looked at this, I thought for sure it had to be Myst or Myst inspired, and then I saw the tags. xD You did a fantastic job recreating this place in Riven! Even without having played the game personally, it was easy to tell where it had to have come from.

Yeah I love the Myst games, amazing atmosphere and style I think, might have dabbled in fan art territory a few times 
Its not a place from the games tho, just very much inspired by them
