Description
This work has a deep personal meaning for me. It was painted as a Christmas gift in December 2012 for my dear friend and was meant to show the ferocity and fiery nature of his spirit.

The medium used was, quite surprisingly, watercolours. I remember that the most difficult thing in painting the picture was putting enough layers of colour on the strategic points such as the base of the left wing and the neck. Also, the difficulty was not to mess the whole picture with my knees, because the format of the painting is A0 and I had to work on it on the floor. The whole thing took approximately four hours.
