Wife of Frey, her name means penned in. Haven't drawn her much but am quite fond of her. ^^
She's a lil rough around the edges but very tough, not much of a warrior but strong in other ways. The rainbow arm band was a present from Frey ^^

She grew up in a small jotun kingdom on the edge of Ironwood. Fenrir and Jormungandr used to think it was funny to scare the jotun in the kingdoms that surrounded Ironwood so they would travel there freak a few people out, never hurt anyone because Loki taught them not to. But Everyone was terrified of them. So in gerd's home town they built high walls of sharpened wooden stakes to keep them out. Gerd's father was the lord of the kingdom and he was very afraid of the monsters braking into the kingdom so he never let Gerd do anything on her own. Never let her leave his castle.
She worked hard to show no weaknesses and act tough in the hope her father would listen and trust her to take care of herself. But he never did.
Then Frey saw her from Odin's throne and fell in love, his friend Skinir offered to go ask her to marry him. Skinir got cross when she said no and started to threaten her. Eventually she said yes. When she went to meet him she imagined he;d be some awful bastard that couldn;t find a woman without threatening her so when she saw sweet nice frey she was a little surprised.
Frey gave her the freedom and respect no one had ever sown her before and loved her completely and she fell in love with him and they lived happily ever after. And she became queen of the elves. ^^
