First of all: A upside down cross is not exactly a satanic symbol. It is the symbol of Saint Peter, who didn't think he was worth as much as Jesus, so he asked if he could be crucified upside down to show Jesus respect. (Yes it is used as a Satanic symbol, but it is not where it originates)

Secondly: That is a hairpin, it symbolizes the Nordic cross, as you can find in our flag, every Nordic country has the same cross in their flag. 

Norway is wearing it as a hairpin, though the other Nordic characters wears it in another way.
