My newest OC, Líriel. Her name comes from 'lírimaer', or more specifically 'írima', which means 'desirable'. She's called that because she's supposed to look like Angelina Jolie.

She died early in the third age, just after Ereinion was reembodied and settling into life in Tirion. In my universe it's a custom for souls that have just arrived in the Halls of Mandos to be given a 'soul mate' (not to be confused with 'soulmate'): someone who has died who is there to help them make the transition from life into death. Usually this soul mate is a family member or close friend, but if the soul has no friends or family in the Halls or anywhere in Valinor, then Namo chooses someone who he thinks they'd get along with. For Líriel he chose Ereinion.

Just after Líriel was reembodied, Celebrían arrived in Valinor, clearly upset that she had had to leave and that Elrond was once again alone. Ereinion knew that in order to get better she needed a female confidante, and so he introduced her to Líriel, and they quickly became good friends.

And there is more, but this will be a story on its own and so I'm not going to tell you any more.
