The premise behind Sleeping Beauty has always irked me. Why don't her parents just explain the dangers of her pricking her finger and then she would know never to do it? And then once she hit 16 she'd be home free. Just sad she had to grow up away from her family (even if the faeries are pretty awesome).
Also, please note that there is no dialogue from anyone save the faeries, Malificent and the two kings once Phillip gets captured. Always found that hilarious
