She actually updated with a comic?! LE GASP!Indeed. I can understand some people liking yaoi/yuri (although i do not anymore) but incest? I think the majority of people who like incest dont have siblings.. >__> but thats just my opinion.

It seems there is a campaign seeking to making believe people cousin relation has 100% chance of having birth issues, i know that probabilities are higher but that doesnt exent distant people of not having a baby with birth problems.

I wouldnt say is wrong, is more risky but not something definitive, probabilities go a bit higher but not enough to say that the off-springs will have birth defects for sure and even distant people can still have DNA compatibility problems, not as high as first cousins but probabilities are still there. I must admit that I worry a bit with first cousins, with third grade cousins i dont worry as i feel they are distant enough and second grade i worry but very little,due to the fact that probabilities are higher but I do understand that these probabilities are not as high as must people have been told or are trying to sell it:

Besides, there exist DNA compatibility tests so if the tests say that there is almost no compatibility issues, well, then there is no reason to oppose them have children weather we like it or not..
I do not root for first cousin marriage but i also dont oppose it, people is free to choose and is not funny seeing other people trolling them this way and kind of forcing others to believe is completely wrong while making fun of them.

Actually, cousin incest is legal in Japan, and in several American states and probably other places as well. For me, there are various things I'm not ok with in real life, but am ok with in fiction, and incest is one of those things.

However...
You do realise that even if they were full siblings the odds of a congenital genetic disorder is only raised by around 2-3%? So if it was initially 1%, it becomes 1.03%? That's less than the augmentation in risk that occurs when a woman falls pregnant over the age of 40. I repeat, a woman that has a child over the age of 40 actually has more chance of bearing a genetically problematic child than siblings have.
Furthermore, in something like 70% of the world, marriage between cousins is legal, including cousins with parents that are twins. If such incest raised the odds of a health issue so dramatically, many a civilisations, like the Egyptians or the Hittites, would have been completely wiped out in just a few generations.
And by the way, saying "If you don't like, don't comment" is a bit silly. You put your work up on the internet, and it's free for anyone to comment on it. If you do not want people to voice their opinions on the issue you raise, either disable comments, or don't throw yourself into the sharkpit that is the internet.

The reason incest is taboo isn't because of the deformality chance over 1 generation. Over generations that number increases.

Um... They are cousins, not siblings, and they never had strong relationships. Hate to break your bubble, but marriage between cousins are legal in like 70% of countries. It is scientifically proved that possibility of some genetical crap appearing in a child is only 3% more than for totally unrelated parents.

Lol, Im a total incest fans (Though I do have siblings...) As In like, Nejihina and Gaatema, but This was kinda funny, because me and my friend were arguing about it one day. (Me: GaaTema = HOT!
