It's summer. I got bored. so I painted reproductions of famous works on my nails. left to right (Pinky to thumb)l'indifferent by Watteau
Moet & Chandon White Star Champagne by Mucha
Birth of Venus by Cabanel
The kiss by Klimt
The Swing by Fragonard.
in fact, the last four are my four favorite paintings. I just needed something to fill the fifth nail and "the Indifferent" seemed appropriate. I might paint over it with Something by Van Gogh or Hiroshige er something.
and the picture for the swing turned out terrible. You'll just have to take my word for it that it's awesome in real life.
took me 3 hours. Acrylic paint with some kinda shiny top-coat stuff.

that's pretty good! i actually have a series in which i did that same thing. i don't have any of those paintings done, but i'm still working on more to add to my collection! you should check them out!
