This is a redux of a picture I did last year ([link] ), featuring the same characters. I wonder to myself now: have I improved?
My signature ending up on Mithos's crotch was not intentional.
...I wish that the deviations I've recategorized into scraps would actually go into scraps and get out of my gallery. ~____~

I think some errors in the lineart could be fixed, and a better shading would help giving more depth to the drawing, but overall it's not so bad ^^ That group always looks cute

Well, to me the eyes sometimes look weird, and maybe mithos' arm should be a bit bigger, but really it's already good ><

Aaaaaaah it's my favorite characters~
...okay, calmed down now. I'd say this is improved from the other one, yes; the poses are more dynamic and the characters are arranged a little better. It's in a bit of a different style, so it's hard to really compare though.
I love how they all look younger, too.

AWWW it's Mithos! He is such a cutie pie! i don't know why everybody doesn't like him, i mean sure he loves his sister so much that he would kill off hundreds of souls just to revive her,twist her wishes until they're mushed jelly and goes insane in her absence but what's so wrong with that? He just loves his nii-san!!!!!
But my fav chracter is Kratos hands down. I love the Aurion family!!!!

I like the composition of this and how you placed the characters, but in some cases the character's poses seem a bit stiff, and sometimes their heads are a bit too big for their bodies (I have this problem too, lots of times. In particular the character on the left seems to be wrong: head to big, head stiffly on neck (or neck too wide) and the arm seems to be oddly pressed into the body. To seem natural, his arm should angle out, kind of following the sweep of that cape you put on him. The character in the very back needs some indication of hair around his/her ear, even if he/she shaves his/her head, there should be some sort of color in that area.
You're very brave to do multi-character shots, though (one thing I haven't really done that much ), and you've got a lot of great detail into the character's outfits. So keep going and keep trying.

I find this picture to be well done. It's very vibrant, it's a group picture - hard to pull off, making everything the right size and flow and everything - and has a sky. :3
Crits... since I know that they're more wanted than anything else: You and ~Lilium-Bell seem to almost be afraid to shade more, make a deeper contrast than to the original color. Since it looks like it's a very nice day, too, there'd be some highlights on just about everything. Doesn't have to be glaring, but at least it'd be there.
But you definitely have the right idea with the hair. Hair is most effected by light, and has the most contrast. The amount of shading in the hair might be your style, so I won't touch that. :3
I dunno, I guess to me it's just there isn't a clear image as to where the sun is... I thought it was in the upper left hand corner, but the girl in blue makes me change my mind...
And unless you wanted her floating, and to hide her legs behind people, if she were standing you'd be able to see her legs behind Mithos. :3

I guess I still need to work a lot on my shading~ I still haven't quite "found" a style for myself. I experiment with every picture I CG. /o/ I understand that Yuan (the "girl" you're referring to) is cut off. =___= urg...I couldn't quite fix it, and I just gave up. Perhaps someday I'll get back to it...

Sooo... I see a great improvement already. You drew in a background! : D I never really could paste onto a background... dunno why.
I see you've changed to using thin black lines as your guide. Nothing wrong with that! Helps give things a more defined look with the smaller amount of shading, I think. Also, how you've executed eyes is different. They've become slightly smaller and farther apart. Nothing wrong with that either. I find it interesting. :3
Although, I do like your first version of Kratos more. I dunno why, though... all around awesome job!

I like this one better, maybe because you kept it sort of simplistic, with the smooth-cell shading and black lineart. I dunno; it's very pretty though.

The coloring job in the first one is better. However, I do prefer this one. It sticks out more, with a more active and lively picture. They characters have more personality, shown through their poses.
