At first, I thought it looked like one of my friends. Then someone blurted out, "Kris Aquino!"
I'm trying a sort of different approach to the whole shades-and-highlights thing, as per inspiration from famous vector artists. And ~retrodiva is just beautiful.

While enjoying this greatly, I can't quite put my finger on the reason I haven't faved it. I think it might be that the colors aren't jumping out at me and I'm in a jump-out-at-me mood. In which case, in a couple days, I may love it even more.
On the other hand, I already adore it for what it is. A splendid rendition of a subject, well executed and presented. The eyes are attention-drawing, the corsetteish top is particularly well vectored.
Keep up this lovely work, honey, it's definitely worth it!

I chose a color set that wouldn't try to jump out at people to keep with the "Timidness" of the theme. I'm pretty sure kimono-wearers aren't the naughtiest of people.

I am completely in love with this piece. The muted tons and colors are simply gorgeous and are reminiscent of the vintage fashion illustration posters. Very awesome work, this particular piece just made my day
