That's why certain Studio Ghibli movies get to people. They don't do the happy ending everyone else does, we don't get the magic forever, it has to end.
I literally just watched this movie maybe 20 minutes ago. And I knew that was coming, an being separated, but it still ripped me up. But they always leave you a tiny seed of the magic behind.
Anyway, very sweet little piece for a sweet movie. :-D

Hehe, what'd make a cute story: Arietty finds a magic plant that can shrink humans down to Borrower size, but it's almost impossible to reverse it. But Sho eats the plant anyway so he can be with her. :,33
