Description
Over the winter I came up with a new character... thing. I started doodling her one night at 4:30 AM, which, I've unfortunately found, is when most good ideas tend to come to me :/
She's some sort of moth-demon-ferret-dragon-alope with downy feathers. And I've decided that her name is Selaphiel, or Sel.
To be honest I like the background in this picture more than the way I drew her. xD

I've drawn her a bunch more since then. I really do need to do a sketchdump sometime.

She looks like a scarf I have. Mostly cream colored, but with purple fading to black and frayed at the ends. She's beautiful~

This is really my kind of critter. I love her! I really like the colour scheme of this entire picture. It has such a magical glow and warmth to it. Selaphiel is very beautiful too. I love that she is feathery and she has such a pretty, feminine looking face. The background is very pretty. I like all those buildings. Especially the clock tower!
