Okay, okay... I caved and decided to post this here too. So here's as much comic-related stuff as I could possibly compile into one sketch dump.
and I are hard at work and in the later planning stages of this thing. Everything here has basically happened in the last month or so!
I realize that a lot of this probably won't make any sense because I haven't really posted anything about this comic yet! haha. But as I basically summarized in my journal, all you really need to know at this point is "2 warring gangs in an alternate universe in the future with mutants and a 1920s-inspired aesthetic."
We're hoping that we can get this started as a webcomic this summer! Ellen will be doing the drawing/lines and I'll be coloring. IT'LL BE GREAT, I PROMISE.
so, now that you know that I'm not dead and this is what I've been doing lately... well. That's that. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them. I'll probably post some more finished looking things of the characters at some point, so maybe some of this will start to make sense. xD

I'm not sure if it is the genre you want to define it as, but this looks like a very cool sci-fi story. The setting itself, in your simple description, sounds original and unique. I know free-time can sometimes be scarce amongst daily obligations, but you should really keep developing this and make it into a web comic!

yeah, even if people post their sketches in their scraps i love seeing them. cause when i watch people, i watch their scraps as well.
sometimes when you look at a lined or finished work compared to a sketch it just doesnt have quite the same life in it

Hey these designs are rocking! Now you've got me all excited about this comic thing! Cool! It's neat to see your progress and to see the ball just get rolling, and yes it is mildly confusing haha but everything looks pretty snappy so far! Can't wait to see the finished character line up!

And yeah, I figured it would be quite confusing! We do have a cohesive plot planned out, so it ought to make sense once we actually get it started!

What format are you guys thinking of launching the comic as? Zine style where we buy it and get physical copy, or digital zine style where we buy it and get a link, orrr on Deviantart/a comic website host?

Well, it's definitely going to be a webcomic at first. But we would also like to publish it in volumes once we've got enough of it made!
Not sure where we'll be having it hosted yet- whether or not it makes sense to buy our own webspace for it, or using an existing website for hosting it... We're going to have to figure that stuff out pretty soon I'd imagine!
