Well, here's another OC of mine, Steam Works. ^^Steam Works is an overly serious, and rather humorless earth pony who helped settle Appleoosa. He's a steam engineer, who originally worked with the Ponyville Rail Service, but now has signed a contract to construct and maintain the horizontal steam engine running the printing press for the newly founded Appleoosa News Paper. His methods are a bit haphazard and frequently end up with a large mess scattered all about his work place. In the end though, his machines always get up and running, and quite smoothly. He'd stake his reputation and a barrel of apple-cider on the quality and integrity of any one of his engines.
His cutiemark is a steam whistle, which I think is self-explanatory.

Ah, but some fans get all uppity when you suggest even the slightest bit of industrialization beyond what's seen in the show.
Myself, I ain't one of them: I'm a big fan of the Industrial Revolution.

I saw this guy while deleting junk out of my deviations que and my brain was just like, "Stop everything!"
This guy is adorable, and I want to ship him. Not with anypony in particular, mind you, I just want to, though given his character I imagine it'd be very difficult to make him loosen up enough for somepony to ship with him. Ah well. Glad I got the chance to see this guy!

If he didn't look so busy right now I think I'd have to tell him you said that. He'd probably slap me silly, but it'd be worth it to see his face.
Now you didn't hear this from me, but a stallion I met down at the Salt Lick said that Mr. Works here really enjoys a good tankard of fresh Apple Cider. Especially the kind he used to get back home in Ponyville before he moved out West. Perhaps a round or two might loosen him up a bit, eh? He might just even crack a smile for ya! XD

You're right! Provided Steam Jet can stand a jaded old codger who doesn't think much of anypony but himself.
