Thor, after returning to Asgard from a mission on behalf of the "Father of All" Odin, wanted to enjoy his free time with his wife Sif, and as soon as he entered the bedroom expecting his wife, Thor was surprised to find Sif's golden braid in the bed, and before he knew what had happened, Odin appeared and said "Thor, your wife Sif has been kidnapped by Loki and his father Kratos. Loki has mocked you and has even cut off the braid of your beloved wife to mock you" and Thor was enraged and thunderbolts came out of his eyes "That wicked boy and his father will pay for this" and so Odin had him teleported to Midgard to search for Loki/Atreus and Kraots.
Meanwhile Sif was still wiggling out of his restraints and even trying to scream, but nothing. The gag was too tight. In fact the Goddess had been kidnapped, but by Odin because he wanted to get rid of her so that he could control Thor better in the future and then have Thor eliminate Loki/Atreus and Kratos.
