The movement that you capture with this is well done, so I wouldn't worry about making it vivid or colorful... sepia is perfect. Also, there's most definitely a metaphor in this... somewhere.

Thank you O: I love the way you post thoughtful comments on my work, it means a lot. Now I need to find the metaphor...

If you need any help finding it, I think I have my analogy detector somewhere around here.

It's probably something like how time is fluid, and never stops rushing by, so you should make the most of everything.

Or perhaps that time is kind of like a river, put something in it and you change its flow, but it goes so fast you can never understand how exactly the flow will change anyway... you can just examine what the flow looks like at the moment and try to gauge what will happen next. The present is a still frame.

That's a good one, too.

Thanks. It doesn't need a concrete metaphor, though, to be interesting. You could put this in a gallery.

Maybe I'll get a print of it for my school's art show next year o:

Definitely, or even ask some of the local coffee shops if they'd like to put up your photography... that's what some of my friends and I have done... of course, coffee shops around here tend to be artsier than your average caffeine hut.

I wish we had a nice coffee shop near where I live, that would be a good idea.

What, you have unlocked church steeples and theme parks but no good coffee joints?

Frozen like in ice? o: That would be really cool! I wonder how I might be able to do that...

Yeah, it would be very hard to suspend water like that and freeze it. XD Good luck.

Thanks, I'll need it ;D
What do you think of the black and white, that I just changed it to? Does it make the water pop more? I think it does.

It brings out the shadows, so I would think it pops more. I'm not very good to ask though, as I am light sensitive and my monitor is kept on like, brightness 20.
I like the feel of it though. Kind of enhances the rewinding feel...like an antique photo if you get what I mean.
