good god, how many months has it been since i submitted buddy blue? nine? the lineart has been sitting around ready to go on this for several months already, so i just seem to have no motivation for this series anymore. oh well... only one more to go.part of the problem with the huge gap between rainbow brite pics is that even if my technique improves i have to do it the same way as the old ones for the sake of consistency. this really sucks because there are quite a few things i'd do differently at this point. i also feel that indigo is the worst one i've done since canary yellow. kinda makes me ashamed to submit something that looks this bad.
...and why on earth is indigo the only one whose name is just the color? honestly.

I can understand what a pain it is to keep it consistent though mate, I've been working on a bunch of centaurs and the tack and the feathering is constantly changing. But you're doing ok.

i'm not sure if i'm going to do anyone other than shy violet at this point... i had hoped to originally, but technique precedent for this series is killing me.
