Description
Far west side of the Lamar area.came across this fellow having a good time hunting and being lazy on a warm summers evening.
Everything is so green in Yellowstone right now all of the animals are out of place with there colors suited for the dryer months to come.

i think i like this better than the new DD fox shot. This has the same gleam in the eye but it's a softer photo, and provides more info on the environment. I feel like he has more character in this shot.

probably 15 feet,
fox are very intresting, they are very shy when they are on there feet, but if you catch one being lazy they tend to be very calm to your approach.

I think i need to fix the colors they are a little over saturated. Or maybe its because its simply not as awesome as Nzemans fox pictures...his fox shots leave ya speechless!

Makes me so jealous. Such a great shot! Seriously though, I just want to see some type of wildlife -- I'm going to be very happy when I move closer to yellowstone.

thanks, im worried the oranges are a bit too vivid so I might revise it a little, i have been using LAB colors within my post processing with good results lately.

yes, LAB colors do produce the best result for editing in Photoshop. I think the orange is great, and I don't think it's too vivid.
