It's snowing now...but we have high winds as well, not good for taking

Yeah, I can see quite a bit from my house...I really
want to get some 'bird's in the snow' pics...but we
still have no snow!

its been cold enough for snow here n florida lately...but noooo

It will stay through March actually...we've had snowstorms in April...
The poor bird build their nests and some even lay eggs and a storm will
come and destroy them

Thank You!!!...I want to take pics of the birds in the snow,
so far I've missed them

I got a new respect for birds and animals from last winter and sitting in the snow to
shoot them....They lasted longer at the feeders then the batteries did in my camera,
those little guys that stick around in the winter are tough and I make sure I feed
them everyday to help them through the cold weather...

I feed them everyday too...we do have some tough
little birds, don't we
I'm grateful for my french doors...I have them off
the kitchen dinning area and off my family rm. which
both look out to the back of our property...our deck
has become "wild kingdom" hehehehehe!!!

I would love your deck....
we have never gotten around to putting one in, too much other stuff had to be fixed first,
but it is on the top of the list for next summer.....Fingers crossed really hard......LOLOL

The deck came on the house when we bought it but you should have seen it.
One part of the deck had an evergreen coming through it and you couldn't
use 1/2 of the deck...we've taken so much off the deck to get it looking
good and even able to use, hehehe!

So, where are you?? Our first snow came later than usual this year, but at least a month ago.

I'm in IL. it's been normal for several years now that we don't get
snow till Dec. but then we'll have it till Mar. even April.
