Description I got a new sketchbook designed for watercolours and this was my first picture in it. I decided to go big and fill the entire page to celebrate.

Picture completed in November of 2011.

Thanks! I was actually pretty happy with the way the nebula in the background makes the warmer colours in the phoenix look. It must be one of the reasons why there is so much art of her hanging out in space.
