He's called "dog tooth" for a reason, even though I think his teeth bare more resemblance to those of a viperfish or an anglerfish. Trust me when I say that Katakuri could NEVER be as creepy/dangerous as either of those twilight zone predators of the deep. I hate to think that there is a Sea King or a merperson out there based on either species, but it is definitely possible.
P.S. If falling for Cyrano de Bergerac, the Phantom of the Opera, various iterations of Dracula, Prince Zuko, and even Sabo is any indication, physical deformities, while surprising and a bit off-putting at first, are not a deal breaker for me. Let's face it though; Katakuri is more human than monster because of his needing "me time" and having imperfections, physical or otherwise.
