Description I'm still playing around in my head as to where I want to take this world building project. And, since I don't have any concrete ideas yet, I'm kinda just trying to convince myself that it's an "actual" place.

That thing looks really neat and the back wheels remind me of the robot transport semi trucks from I, Robot.

The cars in that movie were pretty cool. And all based on Audis I believe.

Huh, I kinda see it now that you mention it, never really been a big car person myself.

The most interesting thing about it, for me, is that it taught me how reddit actually works.

Thanks!

Looks like an interesting place and cool design of the machines. I like the concept a lot

As it stands right now farmers who use automation like tractors already spend more time maintaining the farm and equipment than they do actually working the field and the more complex a piece of machinery gets the more frustrating its going to be to maintain. If anything theres a desire among farmers for machinery to get LESS complex and easier to maintain, to the point where theres people like the Open Source Ecology group who are working to devise tractors that people can build entirely at home.

If you want to look at possible future farming technology I'd suggest checking out stuff like hydroponics, vertical farming or even recent experiments to grow in vitro meats in large quantities.

I doubt I'll go that in depth on the farming. But if I do I'll make sure to look those things up, thanks for the tip!

You know, this will in fact bring another changes to mankind, but Karl Marx warned over 100 years ago that, under capitalism, the tecnology is not used to give humans more time for themselves(like time to play, to study, exercise body and mind...), neither to shrink the burden of labour, but only to increase human exploitation, in length and intensity; the first machines made industries more automatic, which allowed industrial capitalists to hire less qualified or weaker labour force, like children and women; I am not saying this is bad, but we must not raise expectations over it, since most of tecnology nowadays is acessible to those who own more capital.

I'm not sure what you just said if I am to be honest. More free time is bad, because people with money get richer? Which actually suits my world pretty well. There are a few factions who strive to maintain their grip on power.

I said that this tecnology, even making people able to produce more and/or work less, those who have more acess to this tecnology (in other words, money to buy it) will most probalbly use it to increase production of their capital without changing the work time of their employees, who have resources enough only to maintain themselves in this cicle: spend strenght working for a salary->spend wage to recover/maintain your force->start it again; no matter how much money you have, you need employees to sell their work force and use this work force to start producing; if they could produce for themselves, why would they work for someone else? Why not for themselves? This sistem can only work concentrating means of production in the hands of few, while most can only lend their time/strenght.
Yes, many will do anything to keep their oligopoly, even buying corrupted politicians; here in Brazil many deputies tried to forbid the use of Über and Whatsapp, why? Because they receive money from transport/comunication companies that CANNOT restrict the use of those resources; anyone with a smartphone can download and use those apps freely, so those companies cannot earn money from them, and their last resort was to use the politicians at their side to eliminate competitors.

The design looks interesting. But there isΒ one hickup.
The ground pressure distribution would be pretty bad for something with sutch narrow wheels.

I don't know if it would work, but I saw it kinda as a platform for many different farming machines (as seen in the left image). And that these attachable machines would add to the stability and ground pressure and stuff. But I'm no engineer.
