Description
This was the first piece to a series of drawings I thought of making that never really took off. My idea was to create a collection of 'stoner Mario' characters but I shortly stopped working on that when I felt overwhelmed with trying to keep up with work in university.

Although because of recent developments in my art projects, focusing on fandom and their practices, I may want to consider how I can apply this to what I have been doing with my artwork. Not only would be rather amusing to work in my fanart into my uni work but it might help open things up for me if I put it all together.

EDIT: Just as I put this up today, I thought about how I said in my journal a while back I'd hope to put colour into my older stuff. Suddenly, with this one, I felt it was time to start. I should eventually get around to having a lot of the work on my gallery done by the end of my summer break. So, here's the first of what's to come.

Unfortunately, the scanner seems to have not captured the quality as much as I would like it to. I'll look into that some time in the future.
