Now this is a good one!
The line-up based on that from The Arockalypse up until Babez for Breakfast and the apperences of the characters comes from the photos from their album Deadache. Arguably one of the best of the chibi band drawings I've done so far, I feel mighty proud of how it turned out.
Unlike, I imagine, a lot of other people, Lordi didn't get my attention with their attendence at EuroVision back in 2006. Hell, at that time I don't think I could have even barely referred to myself as a metalhead in the slightest! The first album I actually heard from them was Deadache and I've found their material rather addictive since. The blatently theatrical gothic aesthetic is something I often enjoy in metal, Lordi being no exception. I also always found their music, for lack of a better word, fun. Although there is a strong 'mainstream' sound to their music, they never really came across to me as a 'processed rock' band.
If I ever do work out how to get these into colour, this has got to be one of the first I try it on! The band members all vary in style so much it would probably make this also one of my most colourful group drawings in every sense of the word.

EDIT (15/7/2013): Well, having recently taken to working on my older drawings and put them to colour, I finally decided to do so for this one as well. Amen was definitely the most awkward one to figure out. I hope that the end is pleasing to everyone nevertheless.
