Description Pretty much the only final starter evolution I actually like from B/W. Didn't like how the body turned out, so you just get the head P:
I found some canvas board and used that and bleergh. Back to masonite.

Again, more examples of oils that I can do for commissions. I need money fast for a plethora of projects (wood and painting) among other things. Please take a look: [link]

What is it you don't like about canvas?

... I totally responded to this on my phone and apparently it didn't go through. SO.

The more I've been using smooth surfaces the more I prefer them. I can push and pull the paint the way I want to (for certain desired effects) and I can wipe away paint easily. Not so much for canvas textured things. :0 Good for dry brushing though.

Phones love to do shit like that.

I was just making sure it wasn't an issue of your paint soaking in, because if it were the case I was going to suggest doing a light layer of watered down acrylic over the sketch before adding oils.

I really need to try painting on the wood an masonite. All the kids are doing it.

:3 That's what I've been doing lately anyhoo; a nice light base color of acrylic. Makes for nice striking backgrounds.

Definitely! It's a lot cheaper too. I got big sheets from a hardware store for like.. $12-14. All you have to do is gesso it.

The only hard part is figuring out how to hang it later :/
