Good one mate! This piece is notable for being effective through soft colors (I think they call it pastel colors but I'm not sure) that show the natural elegance of flowers. The tiny bee is a great touch. And there is a nice variety in the type of leaves, in addition to the flowers. Perfect to set the tone for spring and the joy of nature.

Yes it is a pastel in a way, I think its the white of the paper and the watercolour washes , you should try proper pastels sticks or pencils sometime I think you would enjoy the colours, or use a programme , perhaps you already have , some of your work has that feel
