Description I really liked how the face and details turned out for this one so I decided to upload a larger version. See the full image here: [link]

I like that she's in the design of a dark elf. :3

Oh, off topic, can I get your opinion on a piece of work I drew?
I don't normally dip into the style of drawing mechanical things, but I figured I'd at least give a go at it and see what'd happen.
I'd like to ask you specifically, because I know you've drawn some excellent robotic anatomy in the past. If you don't wanna, then that's fine, too.

Sure I can give you some feedback. Just let me see the image in question and if you have any specific questions.

As far as specific questions, umm...
"Does the anatomy of the arm look plausible, in terms of realistic design?"
Any other feedback is welcomed, too! It's my first time drawing anything mechanical, if that means anything as well. Lol

It looks plausible enough. I'm not sure what's with the ball on the shoulder, but it should probably be more of an oval since it's resting on top and you're seeing it from the side. The best thing to do is look at photos or scientific illustrations of arms and chunk out the muscles. I like using lots of seams to indicate separate metal parts. Right now your arm appears to have lots of thick wires in it so it would be a good design for a weaker robot. If you wanted to give the impression of strength, I would consider tightening things up and enlarging the muscles. Overall nice job.

The "ball" on the shoulder is more or less a tank filled with extra blood to pump through the "veins" and to increase strength capacity for a short time. Using that does take its toll, however, as it is a limited supply.

I see. I tried to go off of a basic design that I may or may not have found on google images (i.e. this [link] ) Using lots of seams to indicate separate metal parts... I'll definitely look into certain designs to see if I can get a better glance at that. And it would make sense for him to be weak right now, as he's just starting out. I'm sure I'll come up with something greater to show his strength on a more metallic scale rather than relying on wires for outer appearance.

Thank you so much!! I'd also like to let you know what I come up with regarding future designs.
