nope they're pretty much the original design only illustrated. Chibified would mean bigger heads and tiny bodies.

I’ve been waiting for this duo to join Smash for a long while. I was so happy when they were revealed during the E3 Nintendo Direct. As soon as I saw the Jiggy bounce across the floor in their trailer, I immediately said, “It’s Banjo & Kazooie.”, to myself. It was a surprise for me that day. Nice work, by the way.

It's awesome to having them in Smash for the first time as a comeback since N64 days. Maybe just maybe I'll could purchase this DLC for curious nostalgic feeling. I used to play N64 console with Super Mario and Donkey Kong.
