Lol my edges could be cleaner, but then I'd have to tighten everything up @_@
When I'm tight everyone tells me to loosen up,
then when I'm "loose" my profs and people tell me I'm sloppy OTL

I guess..but I think messy edges are in now, 
I can understand that, there seems to be no prefect way to make everybody happy, hehe.
Did you have a reference you used when you drew this drawing? Or was it from your imagination?
I'm just curious. I've been building up my face/head references lately so that I can draw faces/heads better, lol.

It's kinda half and half. I get a bunch of pictures with things I like in them and just keep them up for inspiration/small references. But in general I don't use references @_@ Using references isn't a bad thing imo, but a lot of people don't know the difference between a reference and copying a photo unfortunately :/

Oh yeah, totally. I usually have a reference and do something completely different from it, and everybody is like, 'that doesn't look anything like your reference' and I'm like...'it's not really suppose to'.
So what kind of drawings/photographs, etc, did you look at to be inspired to draw this one drawing (if you can remember, cause I never can, lol)? I've noticed the kinda more gray toned, ghosty kinda looking drawing are supremely pretty, but I can't seem to be inspired to color/draw one *sniffle*.

Lol rightttt. My high school class was like that, and I HATE it when there was something weird in the picture and they'd blame it on their reference. It's like "...You're an artist, you're not limited to a photograph..."
And for this once I just looked at one picture of a girl with her head tilted up, and random pretty models LOL. All the references were super saturated in color, but I guess I picked a muted color palette cause the weather has been extremely overcast lol.

Hmmhm, I actually didn't think about looking at pictures of models, I usually look at like, the drawn anatomy by random people, or inspiring drawings, etc. I once had a small offering of a job for drawing like..body parts, I guess, but it kinda was not really there, and I didn't end up getting it, so now I'm like a anatomy junkie because of it, I like to have a bunch of anatomy references that I can be like, "darn it, that's how I messed up the hand. I knew it looked unnatural," you know? I like to know what I did wrong anatomy wise.
The muted color palette is definitely my favorite right now, except I keep drawing bright things, ugh, haha.

Lol omfg I suckkkkk at anatomy. OTL I should take a figure drawing class, but at my school they're overly conceptual while I just want to go to learn the technical things haha, not how to beeee a foot, smell the foot blah blah blah haha.
And I feel you, I was like that except I kept using blue and purple (LOL almost everything in my gallery is blue OTL). If you want, try doing a monochromatic panting (using brownish greys), then using a layer set on overlay, splash some muted colors in there

Lololol if you look, I never draw hands or feet LOL I'd take a reference but too lazy to pose, and I'd look in a mirror but my stupid cat broke it -A-'' And ooo I never tried learning animal anatomy... I really should though if I want to be a concept artist.... I'm not creative enough for that stuff though hahaha xD

Ugh, totally understandable on my side, my cats break everything. They like to race through the tiny house my family and I live in and knock things over. >.<
Really? It's actually a breeze compared to drawing people. If you ever wanted to, I could teach you with my tablet on some art chat program at some point, no problem, I am a little rusty though. I started online high school, so I haven't done any tablet work since.
