Description Yay, I can finally upload it!
This was a Holiday present for my sister's friend Julie back home and I wanted to wait until she got it in person (I had to send the piece back home with my sister when she came down after Christmas to visit me) before I posted it.

I'm really happy with how this came out and it was a struggle for me! This is the first time I've done this sort of angle - ever - and I think I did a pretty damned good job on it and I'm very proud of that nose! The hair was mind boggling painful to do. My hand was so sore after working on it! But I'm happy with it. My only complaint is that I'm still struggling getting proper highlighing in the skin of the face, I think so spots could be brighter. I like to blend far too much.

Any critiques, helpful hints, and of course comments are very much welcome!

Oh, and Julie loved it!

Thank you so much! Oh definitely, it's the one thing that irks me about this piece is the sort of lack of dark shadows.

I love the hair. The curls over the flowing hair behind it,are really well done.

This is such a soft, gentle looking image. I love how you colored the eyes, it adds such a nice touch to something so nicely drawn. The eyebrows are especially well drawn, I like the detail. You should be proud of what you've done, it's a great deviation.

Awwww! I actually plan on doing a Rapunzel piece sometime in the near future. I love drawing hair and she's the fairy tale queen of hair.

I know, I saw the trailer for "Tangled" and while it's cute, it would be a lot better if they did a classic princess movie about her.

Me too, it's so awesome. I love watching Disney's origial Fanatsia because it's so beautiful and it's all done by hand.

I LOVE Fantasia! I've been thinking about doing something Fantasia-related, but I'm so busy lately and I have so many half-finished drawings already. That was definitely my favorite movie for years as a kid.

Oh I know, I used to rent it all the time when we'd go to the video store. When I was 18 I finally bought it on DVD as my graduation present to myself. I love it, I've always wanted to something Fantasia related too, but I'm not sure what. I think I'd like to do either one of the fairies or one of the mythology characters.
