Korean. Means older brother like Nissan is to Japanese but you use it to address people not related to you.
It's usually used by girls to address their boyfriends so in this case I'm saying: imaginary boyfriend XD

Ahhh, it is Korean. I know the word 'oppa' from Gangnam Style (the song). That was the first thing I thought of when I saw it here, but I figured it was just a similar looking Japanese word.
