Great shot.. rabbits here run when your within a 1/4 mile of spotting them.. but then again it could be because of the few residents of out apartments that trap them for food..

The rabbits there are very used to people being around and don't bolt, plus they seem to recognize those of us that are there more often and tend to let us get closer than other people.

I only spotted one rabbit that let me walk right upto it out here in the wilds.. but it was obviously a Domesticated one

Yeah, it's a shame how many non-wild animals are turned loose because people think they "belong" or will thrive in the wild. It can be dangerous to the animal and/or the environment the intruder is released in.

Yea, good example of that is the European Starling.. a Shakespear group thought it would be great to release 100 of them for their Play.. now look at them.. like a swarm of locus around the United states and killing off natural avian residence.. It use to be when I was a kid we got a quarter for each dead starling we brought in.

Another good example is the domesticated rabbits released in Australia.

I think Frogs were introduced into Australia too and they're still having major issues with those things.

This is a really good picture!! I have a lot of bunnies in my neighborhood, but I whenever I go near any of them with a camera they run away! This is a great capture though =]

I was about four feet away from this guy. The rabbits there are very habituated to people being around.
