American really does need a brawny, beautiful black woman as a Captain America-type.  There was, briefly, Flint over at Wildstorm, but she was actually African, not American.

I wanted it to have a watercolor like look, so that it was all translucent to make it all mesh well. If I left the colors fully saturated with the sketchy lines it just looks like a mess. sta.sh/0ycxmtav5dk
