Get a box, shoot a blue portal in it, now close the box. Go to a wall, and put an orange portal on it. Now throw the box into the orange portal. NOW WHERE'S YOUR SCIENCE!!?

Hahaha I have seen that logic somewhere 
And I am prepared, the most logical answer I could find is that whenever a platform moves the portal disappears so it wouldn't be possible.
In case this was an available option then the box would collide with the other portal like if it was a wall..I think.... leave me alone
