This photo looks cold but intimate. The sharp focus on the beads of water gives them a frigid, icy look, but the shallow depth of field draws you in - you can almost feel the chill of this close scene on your face.

Macro shots of water beads on leaves has "been done," but I think this shot stands as an excellent example of it. The color palette is simple but effective.

I like the slightly off-balance composition. The sturdy-looking stem on the left side has no counterpart on the right side, which makes the leaf in the center, and the droplets of water sitting on top of it, look somewhat precarious - it could tip and spill the droplets with the pressure of a gentle breath.
