- she found a love in electrical engineering and creating light shows in highschool
- found her love for Cybergoth music when an ex boyfriend took her to a Graver/Cybergoth party
- her mother got together with her last husband when Janie was a Sophmore (grade 10), Janie didn't like him at first but quickly grew to love him as her own father once she realized that he wasn't going to be abusive or lazy like past guys her mother dated
- her new dad was murdered when her house got robbed in her Senior year (grade 12), her, her mother, and her little step brother were out on the town
- mother was diagnosed with cervical and breast cancer when Janie was 26, she moved back in to help out her mother and little brother
