Just a beautifull spiralstairs inside a church I stumbled on. Maybe I should have filed it under 'architecture', but I have added a mood to it, because I thought it deserved it.techs: desaturated it, added a gausian blur layer, darkened it, made the whole a quadtone and cropped it.

The texture of these stairs is so smooth, I'd dare to say it strikes me as a ribbon that might be in the process of collapsing. Excellent job capturing the beauty of this church.

The structure of that staircase is mind-bending! I love the angle you've shot it at, making my eyes kind of warp to have to work it out and try and make sense of it all. Great contrast of light vs dark, too.
