What is this long uncalled for absence you speak of? I know nothing of it.Gosh.
Product of a braaaain fart. i.e. utter boredom in holidays. i.e. not thinking of what I'm drawing. i.e no idea what the hell the thing on his arm is or what the green glowy things on them are. I don't have an excuse for that psuedo bullet belt either. o_o

Thats not true.. most people.. including me find drawing anthro style pics is harder than humanistic ones.. (Made that word up i think lol)

I dunno. For me, who normally draws animals, well, I'm more used to drawing a different structure of head, including things that are completely different between humans and animals, like eyes and structure 
I suppose if you draw one style in the beginning, you find it hard to draw the other later on. Probably the same thing with perspectivey, architecturey style of art. xD If you start with that, you might find it hard to change to a less rigid type of art later on...
