I really like this - the slightly aged-looking colours and tight simplicity seems very convincing - the only thing that's at odds with this is the text. I think adding a slight brown tint to the black text would make it fit in better with the picture.
Not to be mister involved or anything, but I really like the rest so I just thought I'd give my five friendly cents : )

swesome style, so unlike most things you see nowadays! it reminds me of these great illustrations i see in russian classics sometimes, usually depicting St. Petersburg. and you own this style to the dot!
