Description For my 3rd Annual Gunslinger Gal Art Jam [link]


I have been meaning to make a picture of Maria Hill for some time now but I keep forgetting about her or something else comes up. So no excuses now so here's my version of Maria Hill. I instantly liked her when I read Marvel's Civil War, plus I love woman with short hair.

I am not sure where organization known as Shield currently stands in the Marvel 616 Universe, but I did like when Maria Hill was the Director of Shield and running the entire organization.

Gorgeous detail and I love the security prison background with Titania in her cell. Love the outfit work and her smirk shows a little cockiness and rightfully so.
Imagine and her an LFP facing off???

Yup that pretty sums it up. Actually she's tough as nails and a leader as well. For some time Maria replaced Nick Fury as the head of Shield.

S.H.I.E.L.D. became defunct when Norman Osborn became the head of it when he supposedly killed the Skrull Queen in Invasion. (Meanwhile it was WOLVERINE that killed her He shot her afterwards and took the credit for it!)
Norman put together an organization called H.AM.M.E.R. and used criminals to run it. Maria Hill went underground because Osborn wanted her dead. at the start of Dark Reign. when Norman ordered the attack on Asgard, He was exposed as the Green Goblin, the Sentry was killed by Thor and HAMMER was out of business.
Steve Rogers was resurrected and he was put in charge now. SHIELD is slowly being put back together.

Thanks for the info, I actually know all this already. What I am trying to say is as of right now SHIELD is not called anything since Steve Rogers was put in charge.

The person over Maria Hill's shoulder is Titania. She has nothing else to do in her cell but look outside the energy door. I didn't want to show empty cells and apparently Titania is the only Marvel villain I have done right now.

I could be mistaken, but I think she's still in charge. I haven't picked up a Marvel book in so long, I'm completely outta the loop for things after Civil War. I still have to finish reading it. Thank goodness for trade paperbacks. I've found myself gravitating towards Green Lantern and The Flash for reading materials. Also if you like girls with short hair, you should try to do one of Soranik Natu from the Green Lantern Corps.

Actually for over a year now Steve Rogers has been in charge.

I'm a Marvel fan so the only thing I read from DC are a few Batman comics.

I know Steve Rogers is in charge but since being put in charge, I haven't heard the organization be called anything. It is just there.

I like Maria Hill so I hope when Steve Rogers becomes Captain America again. POTUS names Maria Hill as top cop.

she was responsible for hero registration act , she tried to capture captain america and was partly responsible for killing him in my opinion
