HotRod-302 β€” Same day different angle.

Description This was a photo taken of the Camaro at the local Title Boxing Club (Now open for business!)
This was just taken with a cell phone camera, not mine. I just wanted to be able to compare MY camera to this cell phone camera side by side. Also I like the angle a little better.
I am pleasantly surprised to see this boxing gym as busy as it is this soon. Granted, I'm not a member (getting TOO OLD) but it's nice to swing by. I want to hit them up for some photos this summer when the sky is blue and the trees are in bloom, but I don't want to ask everyone to go out and move their cars for a few photos. There are a couple nice parks nearby. If I can just get a spot where you can see the scenery.

Right now it's a 350 but since I have to pull the engine out it might be a good time to put a new camshaft in. The cam in the car is too big for the altitude I live at. But I love the thump that the cam gives me.

Cool shot! It's amazing how popular boxing gyms are these days too, since all that mixed martial arts fighting is the "in"thing. And your never too old just to beat the hell out of a bag, i'm gonna be 31 and one of my bigger goals is to take it up

Yeah, they're popping up all over. Big places like Title Boxing Club and LA Boxing Club are doing pretty good. Little personally owned places are suffering.
It's a great sport to get into. I never really had the stomach to compete. I'm 38 and with MY back I would be a bit afraid to try getting into it. But I gotta do something. I'm getting a case of back fat that is making me think I need to mate up a bra to my belt.
There's this gay guy at work and I was asking him "I cut nearly all soda and most candy from my diet and I'm putting ON weight!"
He pointed out that from the front I look okay. I'll always be BEEFY, it's just how I'm proportioned. But from the side I have a lot of accumulated fat... kind of like muffin top only from the rear. I always trust asking a gay guy because a girl would more than likely just say "Oh you're FINE!" and the guys at work know me well enough to know what I'm asking for.

My gay friend got me into working out again. He knew a gym that didn't suck, and wasn't full of judgemental a-holes. I'm slowly trimming down too, i couldn't really use the tricep machine until the other day because i was too effin wide... And you don't HAVE to compete to enjoy it. Like owning a fast car, it's not mandatory to race it. I just enjoy the physical aspect, and as a way to relieve stress. I don't have the patience to compete, way too much work. But the thought of beating the hell out of something is very appealing. Not to mention the whole "bad ass" aspect of boxing training...

It was kind of hard for me because all the people I went to those gyms with competed and I always felt like "The guy who doesn't compete" not to mention they were the kind of people who always seemed to be real good at everything they do. Hard on the self esteem of a guy like me. (Of course everything would have been different if I had been able to sleep like a normal person. All the meds I need to sleep hinder mental function. Without it all I probably would have solve the mystery of life by now. "The answer to the mystery of life is... Detroit Muscle"

Wow...that is very clean! Very nice to see how it's all come together! I remember seeing many of your earlier photos, and I even saw some of your youtube videos of the car.

Honestly, this is one of the most nicest well-thought out custom Camaros I've ever seen. You really made the right choice by painting the wheel spokes black. It matches perfectly with some of the darker elements of the car, such as the black grille surrounded by the chrome trim, and even the interior, with the chrome window trimmings. It's such a perfect match! The blue paint looks great, and the side pipe really adds character.

Yeah, there are a couple of unusual anomolies... there is a spot on the passenger fender just in front of the windshield chrome that is bright green, almost like that new Camaro I got to drive for a day. That's the color of the base coat. It's like when we sprayed the clear with the blue tint all of the tint just got blocked and only clear went down. It's smooth, no orange peel or anything. It's strange, cool, but strange.

Yup, that's a life long partner. Only way it leaves my garage is either with me in it or when the keys are forced from my cold dead hands. And heaven help anyone that my spirit haunts if they do that.
That's a catchy tune.

One thing, I would never ever, let anybody drive my car. When one of my buddies say "Hey, lets take Rusty's car." One of my other buddies is gonna say "Dude...you do realize thats Rusty's car right?" That'd be the number 1 rule, nobody drives my car but me. And never would I sell my car, even if it was for money issues. Yeah, the song, the car, and the angle how you took this pic was perfect

Yup, our cars are like part of our own body. Not jjust anyone can handle it.
One time I got into a drag race with a kid in a Mazda. He had some real work in that car. The turbo and blowoff valve sounded sweet and it had getup and go. But I won and he threw such a fit that before I even got out of my car he was forcing my hood open ranting about me using NOS (WHich I don't. NOS is great but too many things can go wrong.)
I clotheslined him so hard that his body cracked his carbon fiber hood as his girlfriend was probably shitting herself.
If he took a swing at me it'd be "Ow, hey! Why you doin' that. OW stop! You're beginning to piss me off!" and I would have... probably kicked his ass. But mess with my car and it goes right to the demolition of the attacker.

Well nice job beating the Mazda and the kid too! I mean, I'm 15. And I know that your lovely Z/28 could've smoked something like that. NOS or without it. (Personally no NOS myslef, especially in my first car. To me NOS is a show of pretty flames. With science or cars.) Its how I was taught, like my dad when he bought his Camaro, I only knew just a fraction about create motors and how far back these cars go. Now that he's taught me, and I learned alot on my own, I'm pretty basicly the youngest gearhead in my hometown. For I don't wanna have an import. Because when imports came in, Japan wanted them to be safe and slow. And with that Mazda you smoked, they're doing a pretty damn good job. And your right about cars being our own body. Plus to me, they're just like us, they have personality, style, something that they would say in a car lot to someone, "Take me." And thats one of the main reasons why I love cars.

Yeah, to me a car is a blank canvas and the owner is the artist that makes it into the thing he wants it to be. Plus you're preserving a piece of history. A classic car has a story and it tells you the story as you work on it.
I don't think I'd ever put nitrous on a car. So many things can go wrong. I have seen engines reduced to slag because of a sticky fuel solenoid and intake manifolds blown to pieces because when they were hitting the nitrous the rev limiter kicked in.

Yeah, they have been on a real kick on banning things like that. Part of the reason so many furries hate me is because I got someone's galler taken down there for using Poser. They'll insist I did it intentionally but I was arguing on behalf of a friend on FA that used poser and got her art all removed.
