Description
(A wolf, tired and weary from traveling, decides to take a rest. A noise is heard. A type of opening and closing sound. Curious, the wolf gets closer to find the strange sound. Beyond a row of trees lies a factory. The area is peaceful, even with the factory's strange sound. In fact, the sound just adds to the area. Making it a very interesting place to rest...)I thought it would be neat to portray a more modern looking picture. How many scenes ever show nature living with a factory clearly in sight? It may be polluting, but I think animals would be curious as to what these strange structures are.

But the times I usually see you are.. On my way to 4th hour (Food Prep), as long as I'm not late cos of ROTC D:.

Thanks!! ^^ You think they look muscley? xD I'm not even trying to do that. Just trying to make them look semi-real with natural structure and build. Though I could see with all the fur I usually add, it looks like a "big" wolf.

They probably know they can't do anything to really stop it. So they try to deal with it as best they can.

It's very "everyday"-like to see industry here and there but yeah, nobody draw them. Pretty ironic actually. The smoke stack with that smoke very nicely "frames" the sky and the background doesn't look so empty. 'u'

Thanks! I didn't notice it frames the sky either. Personally, I thought the background was rather lacking. But I don't know how to draw clouds in the background to look good with distance. x_x

Hey! Whrhdfj. When I first looked at this picture quickly, the smoke stackthing and all the ...smokesmogyuck coming out of it looked like a tree! :} I don't know whether that was intented or not, but I think it adds a very creative twist to the picture.
I still see lots of improvement, for example... the positioning of the wolf. I would personally say that that particular position is a somewhat hard one to draw! But you did it rather well. The wolf is also laying in a position my dog usually flops around the house in, but that's besides the point.

Hmm, nope, that wasn't intended. But I see where you're coming from with it.
I don't see that much improvement, but I'm glad you do! The position took a while to get right. I had to do it very loosely at first then tighten the sketch until it looked like it does now.

Hey, good point you got there. People always portray that animals know factories are destroying thier habitat(in fiction & stuff), but they probably don't even understand the concept of destruction. So. Great picture. It really points out the fact that true nature hardly exists anymore without a mechanical echo in the background. I didn't know how to say that so it came out all funny

Cool concept, yes there needs to be more pictures depicting modernization and nature together. It does to intrigue me 83 Good anatomy here, especially the wuff's face.
