I'm so used to not winning draws in real life, it always comes as a surprise when I'm rather lucky in HARPG. Won this gorgeous fawn (festive marking) Snjorrir; ISN'T SHE A BEAUT. My fluff army groweth... >3> Antlers are based on reindeers', though I'm not sure if Shadowvale has such things. xD Background was hella fun. IF I CANNOT HAVE REAL SNOW I SHALL DRAW IT. |:

Info: Lalana is a small, slight mare - for a Snjorrir at least - evoking a deerlike grace in her movements and poise. Certainly this and her markings didn't escape her former rider - an officer of rank in the Shadowvalian army - who furnished her bridle early on with a set of proud, heavy antlers that rose above the heads of her comrades in arms. Over time and battles, as the tines became stained with blood and mud, they became as natural a part of her as her own limbs. Now she cannot bear their absence.

Less deerlike is her willingness to charge straight into danger when it presents itself, brow tines pointed and ready. As the mount of a high-ranking rider and a young export she hasn't seen the same amount of sheer fighting as other Snjorrirs her age and older, but she makes up for it a little with enthusiasm and something of a grasp of battle direction.

Lalana does not get on with Kr'venya, the resident Howl Mancer, as is normal for a natural Snjorrir - though she will tolerate a lesser distance when in the company of Sondur, his natural adopted son. She gets on well with many of the mares, though it took a little time for her to accept Ironclad as lead mare (a fact that never stopped Ironclad being lead mare for a single second), and has a particular affinity with Aliyyah. Dressage comes quite naturally to her, but staff are still working out how to manage those bloody antlers for cross country.
