A piece of traditional art!? THAT HOLLY IS ACTUALLY PLEASED WITH!? NO WAY!

srsly. gaiz. This is hard and frustrating. I'm trying to fight through what seems like a perpetual art-block, but it's not easy. I find, though, that the less thought I put into figuring out what to draw, the more I enjoy creating it- the WHOLE image..INCLUDING COLOURING.

This rarely happens, though. When I form images in my mind and I'm skeptical, but draw it anyway, I end up liking them. If I base a picture off another picture or scour the interwebs for ideas, it's hard to bring myself to draw and complete the picture. But every once in a while, I will have need to draw a character and some sort of blurry image will appear in my mind. I'll try to draw it out into something I like and it ends up working, even if I'm not entirely pleased with the sketch at first.

I REALLY wanted to draw Zayn. I really miss him, seeing as most of my highschool years was spent on him (and the other characters of the same species). So, I just thought of drawings I have done in the past of him and this kind of came to mind. I drew it out, had a hard time, but eventually came out with this. I'm pleased. I tried out something entirely different with the background and it came out (almost) exactly how I wanted it. His lower body positioning could be better and his suit is supposed to be darker, but I'm still happy with this...it's much better than my attempt at drawing him in August...BLEH: [link]

I do like how smooth the colouring came out. I also fucked up on his hair due to laziness, but I fixed it and I feel it came out really nice. Inking long, curvy lines is hard, but I feel this is one of my better attempts at inking tails

I hope you guys enjoy this for what it is. I tried to give it a 'heavenly' feel..'cause...you know, he's dead...I'm done blabbling now

I'm so happy to have drawn something I'm remotely pleased with that I actually put effort into and didn't try to take the lazy, fast route to get this done like I had with the other picture.
