Though no Hummingbirds live in Hungary, it is quite frequent that people watch or even report Hummingbirds activities to Bird Watch and protecting services. The "villain" causing this false alarm is a little moth. less than attractive otherwise when sitting still—but when they on their business they act exactly like Hummingbirds (as their English name shows, too). Their antennae and proboscis to access nectar ad pollen show that they aren't birds but even those may appear as decorative feathers and beak.

It seems that I like to play the hard way: I fitted my EOS 5D Mark IV with a Nikon Mirror C 500 lens from the very early 70s via a full set of extension rings. This 500mm fixed f/8 catadioptric lens has manual focus, DoF thinner than a sheet of paper and a fairly large angular momentum for shooting handheld that I actually did. It also has a very special bokeh that is not the usual disc shaped but looks like a donut that gives the images a special mood. This type of bokeh made me decide to use this definitely difficult lens for this theme and I don't regret it!
