...that dare not speak its namePeople can (and will) treat you in two ways:
1 - They (mostly your family) will worry about you all the time, not leaving you alone for a second, treating like you're made of glass that can break into a million pieces at any second for numberous of reasons (Let's not say anything bad or sad to her because she may try it again) and they ask you all the time if you're happy and if everything it's ok; when they see you're serious, quiet, contemplative and alone they secretly freak out wondering if you're considering doing it again...
2 - Other people stay away from you as far as they can. They avoid you because they fear you; think you're dangerous somehow (?); or they think whatever you have that led you to it may be contagious...

I can't say for everybody, but for me I think they should say nothing and just leave me alone; I did a mistake, I'll have that for the rest of my life, I don't need to be reminded all the time (if I offended you, sorry it wasn't my intention)

if you find yourself in this situation with someone close to you you can tell them you care and you're there for he or she whenever they need. Don't ask them why they did it, because they probably won't answer (maybe they won't have a proper answer, which was my case)
I prefer people not to talk about it with me, because people close to me had attitudes towards me that made me feel really uncomfortable. If they just told me they care and they're there for me when I need help and that's it things would be so much better...

Yeah. Most of the second type are those who know that I won't listen, or see it as my choice. I'm glad they think that way, but I also sometimes wonder if they just don't care.

I remember when my mom died, everyone just said they were sorry. I got so sick of hearing that word. I wished someone would say to me. 'Wow, that sucks. I'm here to talk'
