I was going to say that the flower petals made me think of Undertale. Also, did you take the time to walk back to the VERY begining after you defeated the true final boss of the game. Trust me, you should take that hour long stroll back to where you first landed in the underground for an interesting conversation with the last person you would expect to meet at that point in time.
