**EDIT*1-1-20 Bagel got an update!! A new color palette and new face markings~ I love this new one honestly o: I loved the old one, but thisΒ new palette for my baby is just mMPPH and I hope other people agree!!Um so I just really wanted to make myself a male fursona? I don't know why particularly but I've wanted to for quite a while ahah

He's supposed to be a border collie but I'm all about that cream aesthetic so he doesn't really look like one, color and marking-wise, but uh that's ok!
He's an awkward boy for sure
Super geeky and filled with fake confidence. He'll sass you to your face but he's screaming inside when he does it. Plus it's a little ruined by the blushing.

Its a recessive diluted red gene ((ee, if you're curious))
And the spotting could be merle, masked by the dilute gene!!

I am a dog groomer- they are literally my life and I can talk about them 24/7 forever so don't you dare feel sorry lmao
Surprisingly I've never actually seen a gold border collie before though, so that's really cool!! I have seen merle and red, but never gold o: I totally googled them after this comment though and oh my god they're so pretty <3

Oh! Yeah! They're less common, and the recessive dilute gene causes the merle to almost vanish, or completely vanish on any ee merle dogs! 
I MEAN HONESTLY
you could get away with "hes got the minimal merle gene", since that mostly covers up white and light patches with the big dark ones, and with dilute it'd look like that anyways...? owo

People are honestly the worse part of the job 90% of the time, but after a while of building up "customer service skills" you can ignore most of the dumb stuff!Β
The owners can be... ridiculous, definitely. We get people that don't brush their poodles for a year and then ask for "just a little trim" when the poor dog is matted down to the skin over its whole body. And we get people that want their pugs shaved down with a surgical blade because they just "shed so much and don't know how else to stop it". And we get like... everything in between. >.> I can go on for days about some of the crazy stuff we deal with!
