Beautiful monuments (what are they really?)... Old things often seems more beautiful to me than modern ones. Ancient things are made with skill and patience whereas the modern world seeks always the easiest and the most profitable solutions.

Thank you! I could not agree more. Ancient things are inspired and ornate to the senses, like the most beautiful scenes of wilderness are. Most of the new things are flat and the spirit is absent.
